Lodge’s Quick Facts:

Arusha Coffee Lodge lies in one of Tanzania’s largest coffee plantations, surrounded by endless acres of the berry laden coffee bushes. It is designed around the original plantation house giving one of the feel of the long bygone days. Strategically located on the western edge of Arusha town and the lodge is 5minutes from the Arusha Airport.

The Camp’s Bedroom, Bathroom and Surroundings:

18plantation house-are designed around the original houses, lavishly furnished with a split level fire place and the spacious verandah. The rooms have a mixture of 10twin and 8double beds with mosquito netting handing from a spacious wooden frame. The decor is earth colours which is the concept used on the plantation houses, fire-place, wooden floors, low lighting and woven floor rugs. The bathroom is spacious with basin, bath tub, shower, hair-dryer and bath robe. The reception is furnished with comfortable leather chairs and a desk, in an airy open area with coffee trees clustered all around. The drive way has lavender bushes giving a lovely fragrance. The specially designed pond sits between the reception and the pub, designed with mosaic tiles and a centre piece made with glass depicting a water-lily. The lounge has a warm area with comfortable leather sofas, elegantly furnished, dim lights, with brick walls and wooden floors. Fire place lends it a cosy atmosphere. The dining room area is next to the lounge and carries the same theme and decor. It is spacious airy and glass windows let in a lot of light looking onto the pond and gardens. Giving the restaurant a pleasant atmosphere during the day and at night, the soft furnishings, lighting give it a relaxing warm atmosphere. The terrace and individual dining decks extend from the main dining room, a pleasant outdoor dining experience and with a pizza oven to add on the simple and the refreshing a la carte menu. The main bar area is next to the main restaurant overlooking the pond and the across from the reception. This has a cause pub like atmosphere and extends out onto a private terrace and gardens. The lodge has conference which carter 20guests maximum with U-shape and Board room style and also hosting the wedding venue with the Coffee plantation as a backdrop.
