Lodge’s Quick Facts:

Bumi Hills Safari Lodge is situated on top of a hill approximately 55-km south west of Kariba town. With the Zambezi escarpment as its backdrop, the well-known Bumi Hills Safari Lodge overlooks the foreshore below and the vastness of Lake Kariba surrounded by the Ume wildlife conservancy surrounded by the pristine area of Matusiadona national park. Each of the lodge’s 20 bedrooms has a view of the lake and game-viewing sightings can be seen grazing on the shoreline below the Lodge.

The Lodge’s Bedroom, Bathroom and Surroundings:

The public areas include a lounge, a snooker room a cocktail bar overlooking the lake and a dining room. Magnificent vistas of the lake can also be seen from the spa. All 20 front facing rooms (10 standard rooms and 10 premium rooms) have a bath / shower, overhead fan, air-conditioning and a balcony or Veranda. AC power is on 220 Volt mains electricity supply and available by generator only in the suites. Each room en-suite has fine dining room, Al Fresco breakfast and lunch overlooking the lake shore The Lodge has a terrace bar, rim flow of swimming pool, spar swimming pool, residents lounge, dinning, retail facility, same day laundry service (no dry cleaning), wildlife video and book references, exclusive board for 10guests and Snooker and Cigar lounge and Air-conditioned conference room for 40 guests The Lodge’s Quick Safari High-lights:

No children under 12 years are accepted without prior arrangement No childcare / baby-sitters are provided for at Bumi Hills Safari Lodge Due to the location and layout the lodge, no facilities for the disabled are offered

Camp Accessibility:

Situated on top of a hill crop approximately 55-km south west of Kariba town, overlooking the foreshore below and the vastness of Lake Kariba surrounded by the Ume wildlife conservancy adjacent by the pristine area of Matusiadona national park the Camp can be accessed by daily 1 – 1 ½ hour flights from Victoria Falls airport to the Bumi Hills airstrip (COORDINATES - S16°48”E28°20” -1200m long) which are scheduled to connect with all regional flights out of Victoria Falls airport or by 45minutes boat transfers from Kariba town
