Chamilandu Bush Camp: South Luangwa National Park, Zambia Safari

Camp’s Quick Facts:

Chamilandu Bush Camp offers comfort, class and beauty in one of the Luangwa Valley’s prime remote river locations in the South Luangwa National Park. A series of seven ox-box lagoons yield a diversity and abundance of wildlife. Chamilandu is one of six intimate bushcamps operated by the Bushcamp Company in South Luangwa, each with its own unique style. The other bushcamps are Bilimungwe, Chindeni, Kuyenda, Kapamba and Zungulila. All of the camps are within walking distance of each other, so it is possible to walk through the park by day and camp at a new location at night.

The Camp’s Bedroom, Bathroom and Surroundings:

Four unique tree-house chalets are elegantly designed and provide a bird's eye view over the waters of the Luangwa River and Nchindeni Hills. The blend of wrought iron and brass offsets the creams and pastels that welcome you to recline and relax. Open to a 180° vista, the front of each tree house provides the exciting frame for all of the Luangwa Valley’s diversity scenery.
