Resting peacefully on the banks of the Zambezi River, under a grove of evergreen mahogany trees, Chiawa Camp holds a prime position in the heart of the Lower Zambezi National Park. The camp accommodates a maximum of 16 guests in a combination of luxury, honeymoon and superior tents.

The tents all have excellent views classified in as Classic Safari Tent, Superior Safari Tent and are accessed by paths running behind them to maximise privacy. Constructed mainly of natural materials, Chiawa Camp blends in effortlessly with its idyllic surroundings. A stunning thatched lounge/bar area with upstairs viewing deck provides one of the best views of the Zambezi. The Chiawa Camp is renowned with its best cuisine served on the al-fresco dining veranda. After dinner, retire to the campfire and enjoy a cocktail or two while listening to the sounds of wild African magic at night. In a hidden corner of the camp there is a viewing hide up in a mahogany tree from where you can watch life and the Zambezi go by or opt to take a dip in Chiawa’s refreshing plunge pool, complete with sun deck overlooking the Zambezi River.
