SCHOOL AND VILLAGE TOURS: MEET LOCAL PEOPLE, OUR COMMUNITY, OUR VALUE ETHOS
Based on long 15years of experience leading safaris in Africa and believes in community development on eco-tourism, Afrika Zambezi Safaris has put together a small 5% contribution funding kit from the 50% paid safari itineraries from our clients coming on safari as a philosophy realization to introduce our safari trips close to the community as a multi-country safari vision to assist and embark on educational programs instrumented by the school teachers and parents in the villages who have small resources to key tune based cultural village school conservation projects, rural sustainable tourism and awareness on HIV/AIDS pandemic campaigning programs to the village parents and young growing children with high hopes to become future conservationist, tourism leaders or Safari guides. With our initiated 5% contribution thanks towards the community, Afrika Zambezi Safaris and its Safari Guides excite this as an ongoing green leaf opportunity to take our clients on these tours as educational to schools/villages while on Safari to learn, witness and interact with school children, communities and headmen of the villages to hear their previous and current fascinating folklore stories .Below are recent pictures taken in Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe with clients on safari…….

As a renowned tour operator in Africa, Afrika Zambezi Safaris has arranged variety of optional trips into townships and rural villages where you can meet and interact with the local people, visit schools, perhaps learn to greet others in their own African local language as your guide teaches you along the way.
For example, you can tour the famous apartheid museum in Johannesburg South Africa and venture into vibrant Soweto township, cultural melting pot and home to the anti apartheid historical movement.
Visiting townships, rural villages and school tours will give you a better connection to Africa and her contrasting tribes, cultures and traditions. The tours will give you an understanding on how lifestyles and businesses are conducted in Africa. To enhance your experience with the locals and children during your visits to the townships, schools and villages, we recommend that you bring small packs of pencils, crayons or watercolor pens to leave as presents for the young children. In some remote primary schools in rural areas we visit during your Safari Adventure, these will be extremely gratefully received.
Villages and schools visits are coordinated and conducted during your Safari stay at camps/lodges/hotels.
