Camp’s Quick Facts:

The Damaraland Camp is situated in the mountainous region of north-west Namibia on the north face of the Haub River valley about 90Km from Torra Bay. The Camp location enjoys the large wildlife though not in concentrated year-round here, but the natural cycle of rainfall dictating its seasonal movement’s wildlife along the Huab River.

Camp’s bedroom, bathroom and Surrounding:

Damaraland Camp is equipped with 10 large en-suite, adobe-style thatched units that are raised off the ground, each with a walk-in dressing area and a large deck on which to sit and contemplate the wonders of the Nambi desert. The spacious living area combines the dining area, bar and fireplace. There is a swimming pool next to the bar. New technology combined with ancient knowledge has produced an eco-friendly yet high performance design. An open campfire and outdoor 'boma' dinner setting are enjoyed during calm evenings and stargazing is superb thanks to the crystal-clear night skies in the remote Namibian silent desert.
