The luxurious permanent tented or roof thatched camps/lodges offer the Best of Kenya Wildlife Safari Under-canvas adventure of Kenya’s camp to camp move around the national parks all year round, bringing guests within reach of the Great Migration and exploring remote beautiful corners of Kenya’s excellent resident game-viewing safari with excellent safari guides. Using only these private camps/lodges, the migratory located camps are entirely intimate and exclusive, featuring Kenya’s most taste spacious safari camps/lodge experience while on Safari. Carefully planned according to the projected movements of the Great Migration, the flamingos safari anthology of Lake Nakuru, the camps/lodges aims to bring guests within comfortable driving distance of the herds. However, the wildebeest masses move with the rains, which occur at a different time of each year between Masai Mara and Serengeti NPs, so it is not always possible to accurately predict where they will be. Our safari expert guides will always try to place guests in the midst of the thronging flamingos or the wildebeest but, should they not appear when expected, their intimate knowledge of the ample resident game will ensure a rich game viewing experience.

ACCESS TO CAMPS/LODGES:
Mostly drive into Camp/lodges from Nairobi to the most game reserves or national parks (Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Masai Mara and Amboseli NPs). Guests will be collected from Jomo Khanyata Airport, overnight in Nairobi and safari enroute trip to the camps on the following day.

GUESTS ACCOMMODATION ON SAFARI
This itinerary lead guests to stay in permanent wilderness camps/lodges feature Bedouin style tents complete with ensuite facilities, with private W.C.’s and outdoor showers. The spacious rooms’ interiors boast elegant finishes of Persian rugs and chandeliers. The safari itinerary includes, Samburu, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, Masai Mara and Amboseli NPs.

SAFARI ITINERARY DETAILS:

Day1: Arrival Nairobi City, Jomo Kenyatta international Airport
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport you will be met and greeted by your safari Guide from Afrika Zambezi Safaris or the local driver to transfer you to the local hotel. (Assuming you will arrive in the morning flight) After lunch you will have the rest of the afternoon at leisure, where you can enjoy the hotel's facilities; an array of African Continental, French and Italian cuisine, swimming pool, 2 squash and tennis courts, fitness Health Club which includes an aerobic studio, Jacuzzis, steam room, gymnasium and sauna. Or you may opt to go for the Nairobi city tour which includes a visit to; The City centre, The railway station and the Railway Museum, The National Museum, The Animal Orphanage and The Safari walk, The Giraffe Centre and the Bomb Blast ( August 8th Memorial Centre) before you return to your hotel not forgetting the “Cats - Nightclub” if you like to enjoy a night out. Day 2 Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve:

(Ashnil Samburu Tented Camp)
After Early breakfast, you will depart the hotel for Samburu National Reserve arriving in time for lunch in the afternoon. After lunch, you will go for an afternoon game viewing drive till dusk.
In addition to Kamunyak, the renowned lioness famous for adopting Oryx calves, Samburu National Park boasts to some several species which are considered unique to the region, including its unique dry-country animal life: All three big cats, Lion, Cheetah and Leopard, can be found here, as well as herd of Elephants, Buffalos and Hippos. Other mammals frequently seen in the park include Gerenuk, Grant's Gazelle, Kirk's Dik-dik, Impala, Waterbuck, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx and Reticulated Giraffe. Rhinos are no longer present in the park due to heavy poaching. There are over 350 species of bird species which include Somali Ostrich, Kingfisher, Sunbird, Bee-eater, Marabou Stork, Tawny Eagle, Bateleur, Guinea fowl and Vultures. The Uaso Nyiro River contains large numbers of the Nile crocodile.

Day 3 Samburu National Reserve: (Ashnil Samburu Tented Camp)
Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drive spend the whole day exploring the slopes of Samburu. An optional visit to Samburu villages can be arranged with our expert guide onboard. The Samburu People are semi-nomadic pastoralists with amazing cultures; their dressing to start with fascinates, in their dress code of very traditional clothing of bright red material used like a skirt and multi-beaded necklaces, bracelets and earrings, especially when living away from the big cities. Following closely is their special relationship with cattle, sheep, camels and goats thus milk is their main course, and at times mix it with cattle blood as stable refreshment drink, however, meat is only resigned to special occasions, the Samburu, whose language is also called Samburu, are known to make soups from roots and barks and eat vegetables if they grow within their vicinity.

Day 4 Samburu National Reserve - (Lake Nakuru National Park )
Before dawn we head out in search of Africa's wild cats, after breakfast drive down to Lake Nakuru National Park, with a brief stop over at Nyahururu's Thomson's Falls, where you will have a picnic lunch, arriving in the afternoon. Go for an afternoon game viewing drive. Millions of fuchsia pink flamingoes dominate Lake Nakuru National Park, as well as the fish eating pelicans and over 450 other species of birds. The lake is renowned as the most extraordinary bird spectacle in the world. Thousands of both little grebes and white winged black terns are frequently seen as well as avocets, ducks, stilts and the migrant waders during winter in the northern arctic. However visitors to Lake Nakuru may also catch a glimpse of Thomson gazelles, impala, waterbucks, giraffes, buffaloes or even black rhino. Lake Nakuru National Park is a park that consists of various habitats such as the dying out euphorbia forest, the yellow barked habitat, the savanna like habitat as well as the lake itself.

Day 5 Lake Nakuru- Lake Naivasha National Park ( Naivasha Sopa Lodge)
Pre-breakfast morning game drives which will include going up to the Baboon cliff, return to the lodge for breakfast, then depart Lake Nakuru for Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at the Sopa Lodge . After lunch in the afternoon, proceed for a game viewing drive at the Hell's gate National Park (You may use bicycles while in this park), visit the Crater lake and Boat ride if time can allow till dusk. Lake Naivasha is a fresh water lake located in Naivasha town, abundant in a diversity of over 400 species of bird life. The lake is unique as it has to other lakes in its vicinity; lakes Oloide and Sonachi (which is a crater lake) and there is a game sanctuary that nears this lake. Joy Adamson, the author of 'born free', 'living free', and 'died free', who used to live on the shores of the lake in the mid 1960's. There is occurrence of sudden storms at the lake. This occurrence of these sudden storms gave the lake its name, Naiposha, a local Maasai word meaning sudden storms.

Day 6 Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara National Park ( Mara Leisure Camp)
After breakfast, you will be checked out of your hotel and depart for Maasai Mara NP, which is commonly known for the 'big five safari activities'. It takes about 4 Hours to arrive at the Maasai Mara by road. You will arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game viewing drive until evening before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
The Maasai Mara, now The New 7th wonder of the world and 4th preferred tourist destination in the world and a home to wildlife in abundance with other variety species that can be difficult to be seen. The most spectacular event of the natural world takes place here; is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the
predators of the savannah; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture. It hosts over 450 species of animals which include lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants

Day 7 Maasai Mara National Park (Mara Leisure Camp)
After breakfast, experience the magical Maasai Mara NP, with the option of a morning and an afternoon Game drives, taking your packed lunch during your drive. You will also have the option of taking a pre-breakfast balloon flight safari, at an extra cost, which will give you an unforgettable experience as you view animals very early in the morning from a birds' eye view.
The wildebeests are the most dominant inhabitants of the Maasai Mara NP. Their numbers are estimated in the millions. The great migration starts in July each year when well over one million wildebeest along with large numbers of Thompson's gazelles, zebra and other herbivores migrate from the Serengeti plains in Tanzania to fresh pastures in the north and then back south again in October.

Optional Balloon Flight:
You can opt to carry out your game viewing activity on an adventurous and unforgettable balloon flight over the spectacular Mara at an extra cost. This package includes a bush breakfast in the wild.

Day 8 Maasai Mara
– Nairobi departures
Our last early morning game drive and breakfast at Maasai Mara brings you to say goodbye to camp staff at Mara Leisure Camp as we depart after breakfast on game drive road transfer departure for Nairobi arriving in time for Lunch at the Famous Carnivore restaurant. After lunch, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to your next home-wards flights connection.
