SAFARI ITINERARY DETAILS:
Day 1: Arrival - Nairobi - Nairobi National Park
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international Airport, met and greeted by your safari Guide from Afrika Zambezi Safaris or the local driver to transfer you to the local hotel. Lunch will be served at the Carnivore Restaurant. After Lunch, you will continue with your game viewing drive till evening when you will be checked in to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Nairobi National Park
was established in 1946 and was the first National Park in Kenya. It is located approximately 7 kilometers south of the centre of Nairobi, Kenya's capital city, with only a fence separating the park's wildlife from the metropolis. Nairobi's skyscrapers can be seen from the park. Indeed, the proximity of urban and natural environments has caused conflicts between the animals and local people and threatens animals' migration routes. The 117 km2 Nairobi National Park is unique by being the only protected area in the world with a variety of animals and birds close to a capital city. As expected, the park is a principal attraction for visitors to Nairobi. Still, despite its proximity to civilization and relative small size for an African national park, Nairobi National Park boasts a large and varied wildlife population.Dinner and overnight stay will be at Fairview Hotel or similar.
Day 2: Nairobi - Maasai Mara
After breakfast, you will be checked out of your hotel and depart for Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is commonly known for the 'big five'. It takes about 5 Hours to arrive at the Maasai Mara by road. You will arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game viewing drive till evening before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.The Maasai Mara, now The New 7th wonder of the world and 4th preferred tourist destination in the world is a home to wildlife in such abundance and variety that it is difficult to imagine. The most spectacular event of the natural world takes place here; the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture while being followed on their heels by the
predators of the savanna; lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vulture. It hosts over 450 species of animals which include lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephants
Dinner and overnight stay will be at Mara Leisure Camp / Fig tree Camp or similar.
Day 3 & 4 :Maasai Mara
After breakfast, experience the magical Masai Mara; with the option of a morning and an afternoon Game drives, taking your packed lunch during your drive. You will also have the option of taking a pre-breakfast balloon flight safari, at an extra cost, which will give you an unforgettable experience as you view animals very early in the morning from a birds' eye view.The wildebeests are the most dominant inhabitants of the Masai Mara. Their numbers are estimated in the millions. The great migration starts in July each year when well over one million wildebeest along with large numbers of Thompson's gazelles, zebra and other herbivores migrate from the Serengeti plains in Tanzania to fresh pastures in the north and then back south again in October.
Optional Balloon Flight
You can opt to carry out your game viewing activity on an adventurous and unforgettable balloon flight over the spectacular Mara at an extra cost. This package includes a bush breakfast in the wild.Dinner and overnight will be at Mara Leisure Camp / Fig tree Camp or similar.
Day 5: Maasai Mara - Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru
After an early pre-breakfast game viewing drive, you will have breakfast then check out of your lodge for departure to Lake Naivasha for a unique bird viewing and game viewing experience. Afterwards, you will depart Lake Naivasha for Lake Nakuru, with a stop over for late lunch at Naivasha town. You will arrive in the late afternoon, in time for a game viewing drive at the Lake Nakuru National Park till late evening, when you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.Lake Naivasha is a fresh water lake located in Naivasha town, abundant in a diversity of over 400 species of bird life. The lake is unique as it has two other lakes in its vicinity; lakes Oloide and Sonachi (which is a crater lake). There is also a game sanctuary that nears this lake. Joy Adamson, the author of 'born free', 'living free', and 'died free', used to live on the shores of the lake in the mid 1960's. There is frequently an occurrence of sudden storms at the lake. These storms gave the lake its name, Naiposha, a local Maasai word meaning sudden storms.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru - Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
You will enjoy a pre-breakfast game viewing drive, after which you will have breakfast, check out of your lodge and depart for Amboseli National Park. With a lunch stop over at Nairobi, you will arrive in the evening, in time for check in at your lodge for rest, dinner and overnight stay.Lake Nakuruis one of the Rift Valley soda lakes. It lies to the south of Nakuru, in central Kenya and is protected by a small Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake's abundance of algae attracts a vast quantity of flamingos that famously lines the shore. Other birds also flourish in the area, as do warthogs, baboons and other large mammals. Black and White rhinos have also been introduced.

Day 7: Amboseli National Park - Tsavo West National Park
You will spend the day enjoying morning and afternoon game viewing drives with lunch being served en route. Afterwards, depart for Tsavo West National Park for more game viewing drives, arriving in the evening in time for check in and overnight stay at your lodge.The Tsavo West and Tsavo East National Parks form one of the largest National Parks in the world and covers a massive 4% of Kenya's total land. Tsavo West is the most famous of the two and is painted on a sprawling canvas of endless skies, hills, liquid lava flows, rivers, sparkling oases and a cloud shadowed African savannah. The magic Mzima Springs is fed by over 250 million litres of fresh water gushing from the lava flows of the Chyulu Hills. It provides a continuous supply of water to Mombasa town. The park is famous for the numerous prides of maneless lions that patrol the plains and predate on the herbivore herds. It offers some of the most magnificent fame viewing in the world with vast herds of dust-red elephant, hippo, giant crocodile and a wide variety of bird life.

Day 8 - 11:Tsavo West National Park – Mombasa – Watamu
After an early pre-breakfast game drive, after breakfast, you will depart Tsavo West National Park for Mombasa arriving ready for lunch and then to Watamu, arriving in the afternoon. You will check in at any of the two beach resorts ; Turtle Bay Beach club Or Hemingway's beach Resort for the next three nights enjoying all that Watamu beach can offer.Watamu is a seaside resort on the Indian Ocean coast of Kenya. It lies on a small headland, between the Blue Lagoon and Watamu Bay. Its main industries are tourism and fishing. The nearest big town is Malindi. The shoreline in the area which features white sand beaches and offshore coral formations arranged in three bays: Watamu Bay, Blue Lagoon and Turtle Bay. They are protected as part of the Watamu Marine National Park. The Marine Park is considered to be one of the best snorkeling and diving areas on the East African coast.

Day 12: Watamu – Malindi – Nairobi - Departure
On this day, after breakfast, you will depart for Malindi Airstrip for your flight to Nairobi arriving in time at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you will take your departure flight for your next destination.
