Lebala Camp: Kwando Botswana Safari

Camp’s Quick Facts:

Lebala which means wide open spaces in Setswana, the Camp is located in a private operated Kwando Concession on Kwando River bordering the boundaries between Botswana and Namibia. The dominated vast flood plains, scattered palms and tree clumps backed by wooded savannas provide the best endless scenic viewing of this area.

Camp’s Bedrooms, bathrooms and Surrounding:

The beautifully unique built eight luxurious tents were designed specifically to offer the camp a total feel of the bush-life style taste while on African safari adventure. Each ten is built on a raised teak deck to offer the best views of Kwando plains with a maximum comfort and privacy in mind. The large windows and decks offer endless vistas across the vast plains. The tents have entrance foyer with a reading and writing area, en-suite bathrooms are designed in a Victorian clawfoot bathtubs styles with his and her own wash-basins and flush toilets. The bathrooms lead out to a reed enclosed open-air shower with hot and cold running water. All Meals are served in the open-sided dining room. After dinner, guests can enjoy sitting around camp-fire sipping a cup of coffee/tea or a nightcap while the Kwando Guides share their veld jokes and African bush folklores. A small swimming pool is available to be utilised with guests to cool off during the heat of the day after morning safari activities.

Camp Accessibility:

Located in northern western Botswana, the Lebala camp can only be accessed by a charter flight from Kasane/Maun town, the tourism capitals of Botswana, and then got transferred to the Camp by the game-viewing vehicle.
