Lianshulu Lodge, one of the first private lodges built inside a Namibian National Park, in the heart of the Mudumu National Park, dry mixed woodlands stand in complete contrast of the beautiful Kwando wetland ecosystem. The beautifully furnished lodge is placed beneath canopy of the shady jackal-berry and African mangosteen trees, on the banks of the scenically stunning Kwando River.

Camp’s bedroom, bathroom and Surrounding:

Lianshulu Lodge accommodates guests in 9 twin rooms and one family room, each with individually styled and tastefully furnished with en-suite bathroom and secluded veranda. The airy thatched dining, lounge and bar areas open onto spacious, split-level wooden decks, affording sweeping views over the Lianshulu Lagoon. Two fireplaces, scenic outlooks and a secluded swimming pool create idyllic places in which to relax and take in the tranquillity of the natural surroundings.

• Safari Activities include morning or sunset boat cruises, nature drives in Mudumo national Park.
• Experience the visit to Lizauli Traditional Village, a model homestead where members of the local community give fascinating insights into their way of life in this remote corner of Namibia.
• Game drives in Mudumu National Park offer the including sightings such as buffalo, zebra, wildebeest and waterbuck with elephant and hippo being particularly abundant.
• Predators are sometimes encountered and around 400 bird species have been recorded in the East Caprivi.
• The river ecosystem of Kwando offer the spectacular infested Hippopotamus, crocodiles, fish such as bream, tiger-fish and catfish can be seen from the lodge deck

Camp Accessibility:

Located on corner of Namibia’s Capri strips where Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe meet, the lodge can be accessed by road from Katima Mulilo town but recommended to charter flight from either Botswana’s Kasane town or Windhoek.
