Camp’s Quick Facts:

Linyanti Bush Camp is a small, intimate twelve bedded tented camp on the banks of the Linyanti marshes, in a private reserve bordering the western boundary of Chobe National Park in the Chobe Enclave. The camp is limited to small exclusive groups who seek a personalised experience in a private concession away from the main tourist routes. The camp is designed to give you an authentic and wild safari experience.

Camp’s Bedrooms, bathrooms and Surrounding:

The tents are spacious at 8x5 metres (24x15 feet) which consist of a bedroom, living area and vanity desk. En-suite bathroom facilities are hidden discreetly behind a grass reed blind. The meru style tents incorporate a fly sheet – adding to the east African feel of being on an original camping safari expedition. The main area and dining room are elevated on wooden decking, giving you the full view of the dramatic Linyanti swamps, where large herds of elephant and buffalo roam freely. The furniture throughout the camp is a mixture of specially designed solid teak pieces, antique collectables and modern cane furniture. This lends itself to the camp’s beautiful and elegant design, described by many visitors as “African simple elegance�. The Camp offer game drive activities, walking, night drives and game-viewing hides.

• The Linyati area is best known for its large populations of elephant and buffalo that congregate in vast numbers, especially during the dry season.
• Pride of Lions, sable, roan, leopard, wild dog and a number of the plains game are the spectacular sightings to be enjoyed at Linyanti.
• The elusive rare sitatunga antelope, red lechwe, hippo and crocodile are the most popular general sightings in the marsh surroundings.
• The Linyati area also boasts and offers wide ranges of spectacular bird-watching trips throughout the year.

Located in the western bordering of Chobe national park in Botswana, the Linyati Bush camp can be accessed by road transfers or charter flight from Kasane international airport, the second tourism capital of Botswana.
