Mwamba Bush Camp: South Luangwa National Park, Zambia Safari

Camp’s Quick Facts:

Mwamba Bush Camp is set deep into the bush within South Luangwa National Park, a relaxing 3-hour bushwalk from Kaingo Safari Lodge. The camp provides an opportunity for those of a more adventurous spirit to explore the Park’s heartland. Wonderfully remote and peaceful, the site is set on the banks of the Mwamba River, a tributary of the Luangwa, enjoying shady views of perennial waterholes.

The Camp’s Bedroom, Bathroom and Surroundings:

The three reed and thatch en-suite chalets are uniquely designed with two large skylights (protected by mosquito gauze) allowing you to experience sleeping under the stars. The accommodation reflects a thoughtful balance between back-to-nature simplicity and essential comforts. Meals are of the same high standard as Kaingo, and the bush-style dining/bar area or "chitenge" is set under the deep shade of huge ebony trees. A spectacular sunset viewing-point on top of a large termite mound and a glowing campfire under the stars completes the camp's friendly and personal atmosphere.

Camp Accessibility:

Located in the deep heart of South Luangwa National Park, the Camp can be accessed by charter flight from Lusaka/Livingstone international airport as an easy access to get to the camp due to its remote location.
