Camp’s Quick Facts:

The camp was named after Seba, one of the elephants historically released from nearby Abu Camp. As a baby, Seba starred in the Walt Disney movie, Whispers, that was filmed in the area. The word "Seba" means whisper in Kitswana language of Botswana. A number of elephants that were released back into the wild have formed their own herd. Seba Camp, a family aimed camp set in the lush riverine forest in the heart of the Okavango Delta, were built-up on with two following distinctive features: Constructed for a family-friendly Camp offering parents opportunity to introduce children aged between 8-10years who are to be future safari Guides and conservationist into African wildlife magic. The total base for the most fascinating elephant research project.

Camp’s Bedrooms, bathrooms and Surrounding:

Seba Camp was designed to offer the blending in with an ancient riverine forest with camp being constructed on with majestic hardwood trees like the sycamore fig and Leadwood, all overlooking a perennial lagoon with its prolific birdlife and resident pods of hippo. Seba Camp has five well-appointed spacious luxury elevated tents, each with en-suite bathroom and a private deck to relax on or simply observe the trespassing wildlife in and around the perennial lagoon. The vibrant décor of each tent resemble to celebrate the different tribes of Botswana. The well-lit path-ways which lead to the communal dining area and lounge-library replete with references and pictorial books. The camp has a secluded swimming pool enabling guests to refresh themselves and relax after a morning safari activities siesta. The dining and pub areas are also set on a raised saligna deck with spectacular views overlooking the lagoon or flood plains. The superb dinner follow after the pre-cocktails shared by guests, researchers and guides around a traditional campfire. Seba Camp incorporates many features making it a warm welcome to family guests with children. The main tent offer a family villa with two inter-leading en-suite with double bedrooms. There is ample space for children, including a built-in 'tree-house' for them and an elevated deck which has its own small swimming pool and sandpit for Children to share.

Located in Okavango Delta swamps, the camp can only be accessed by a charter flight from Maun/Kasane town, the tourism capitals of Botswana, and then got transferred to the Camp by the game-viewing or mokoro ride/ a boat depending the high water-levels in winter months of June/July.
