Located in exceptionally private section of the park offering visitors a luxurious exclusive safari experience in a secluded area of Tarangire National Park, arguably northern Tanzania's most interesting park, famous for the large herds of elephants and spectacular legend baobab trees, Swala Camp is Set to become one of Tanzania’s most iconic retreats, Sanctuary Camps now fully opened following its US$1.5 million refurbishment and its completely rebuilt is designed to the highest eco-friendly standards with emphasis of maintaining low carbon foot-print.

The Camp’s Bedroom, Bathroom and Surroundings:

Each of the twelve luxurious canvas pavilions guests tents are shaded by tall acacia trees frequented by different wildlife species at the watering hole and surrounded by the main dining area, deck and the library which is lifted on stilts around an enormous ancient baobab tree. The Camp has a stunning infinity swimming pool overlooking the waterhole views which draws wildlife species like pride of lions, leopard, and resident bull elephants for which sanctuary Swala is famed of. The tents feature a spacious open plan arrangement with comfortable king size beds, camping chairs and plush sofas, as well as en suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor shower. Each tent has its own butler who attends to guests' every need. Exquisitely furnished with traditional materials, the tents at Sanctuary Swala are unashamedly luxurious but still close enough to nature to permit an exciting night under canvas.

The Camp Accessibility:

Located in exceptionally on private section of the park , the Swala Camp is accessed by 45minutes daily scheduled flights from Arusha into Kuro airstrip and then 30minutes drive to the Camp or by road on customised 4x4 game-viewing about 115km from Arusha followed by another 67km drive into the park and all guests are restricted to bring with 15kg sided soft duvel-bags.
