Camp’s Quick Facts:

Xigera Camp (pronounced in Setswana as; Keejera) it is perfectly located and hidden on the island in the heart of the Okavango Delta on untouched pristine area of Moremi Game Reserve. Xigera camp is well positioned in what is truly known as a wetland paradise surrounded by deep channels and lush riverine eco-systems with variety of vegetation scenic.

Camp’s Bedrooms, bathrooms and Surrounding:

The Xigera consists of ten luxury furnished tented rooms each with exquisite en-suite facilities and an outsider showers. The raised wooden platforms and walkways to tent offer a superb views of the seasonal floodplain, lagoon and a feel of living in the midst of a riverine forest. All meals and evening drinks are enjoyed in the lounge, Bar or dining area overlooking a permanently flowing channel views of the Delta or under the stars in a traditional African Boma style. For the guests who can not stand any hot summer days, a small plunge pool is available at the Camp to utilise after the morning safari activities. Using the footbridge connecting from Xigera's island to the next, sometimes guests get treated on close-up encounters on pride of lions or leopard sightings and the camp "newspaper" commonly known as (a sand pit built into the bridge to capture paw prints) read each morning to provide predator information or to unseen nightly visitors to camp.

Located in Moremi Game Reserve Botswana, Xigera Camp can be accessed by a charter flight from Kasane/Maun town, the tourism capitals of Botswana, and then get transferred to the Camp by game-drive vehicle.
